A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE 'SCHOLAR AND QILIN' CARVING

The jade group is carved as a large qilin crouching beside a standing scholar wearing loose flowing robes. The eyebrows, mane and tail of the mythical beast are detailed with incisions. The stone is of a pale tone.
