A PAIR OF BLUE-GLAZED CONG-SHAPED VASES
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
Each vase is supported on a circular foot, two sides moulded with elephant-head and ring handles, all covered in a rich blue glaze with exception to the foot rings.
11 3/8 in. (29.8 cm.)
Provenance
Acquired by the vendor's father in the 1980s in the UK, then by descent within the family.
