Uniformly decorated with opening initials in red and blue with penwork, one finely coloured in green, pink and yellow at the beginning of second work, other initials and rubrication in red and blue. Contemporary Cologne Carthusian blindstamped calf over wooden boards [EBDB w002176], manuscript title on spine, manuscript on vellum reused as pastedowns (catches loose, a few early repairs, rubbed). Provenance: Cologne Carthusian monastery (binding – later library stamp).
