Lot Essay

One of the most elegant and understated time-only wristwatches produced by Audemars Piguet, the present fresh to the market “extra-thin” wristwatch impresses by its original condition. Housed within the rectangular angled case, a masterpiece of minimalist design in itself, is the impressive extra-thin caliber 2003 hand-wound movement.

Audemars Piguet introduced the caliber 2003 in late 1953 starting with movement number 60000. The caliber 2003 remained in production for half a century.
