A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF WATER MOON GUANYIN
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The bodhisattva is finely cast seated in rajalilasana on a large bronze rockwork-stand, holding a jewel with the right hand and an elixir bottle in the left hand. The body is covered in flowing robes and adorned with beaded necklaces. The face has a serene expression with downcast eyes.
