The present watch is number 2169 in a limited number of 5441 examples produced in recognition of OMEGA for receiving the prestigious Silver Snoopy Award. The Silver Snoopy Award is the highest distinction awarded to those individuals and companies who have made great contributions to NASA conquests of space and was presented to OMEGA in 1970 to commemorate the company’s importance throughout the Gemini and Apollo programs, especially on the Apollo 13 mission. The number 5441 represents the length of the Apollo 13 mission: 142 hours, 54 minutes and 41 seconds.
