PROPERTY FROM BENOIT BOLAND'S COLLECTIONBenoît Boland (1885-1983) finished his career in 1946 in China as the manager of the Shanghai Port. During the 23 years he spent in China, he immersed himself in Chinese life and culture, he spoke Chinese perfectly. He came back to France with art works from China including this vase.Benoît Boland先生 (1885-1983) 於1946年結束了上海港口總管的職業生涯。他曾於中國生活23餘年，精通中國文化藝術。重返法國之際，他攜帶了數件中國藝術品，其中包括這件窯變釉瓶。

Le vase est de forme hexagonale à pans coupés, les côtés sont flanqués d'anses tubulaires légèrement renflées. Il est recouvert d'une glaçure pourpre rehaussée de fines coulures mauves.
