LUNAR SURFACE – Collection of vintage NASA panoramas, 1969.
Captured by Neil Armstrong on the lunar surface or inside the Lunar Module.
Three color photographs, 8 by 10 inches each. "A Kodak Paper" printed on versos.
Further information on this lot:
1) Assembled from eight lunar surface Hasselblad frames, creating three lunar surface panoramas, two of which show part of the Lunar Module Eagle.
2) Assembled from nine lunar surface Hasselblad frames, showing the Moon surface looking east and the Large Crater east of the Lunar Module.
3) Consisting of two panoramas taken before and after the astronauts' moonwalk (EVA) from the Lunar Module window. The post-EVA frame shows hundreds of boot prints and the U.S. flag.
