YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)

The olive-toned celadon glaze of this unusual Yongzheng dish, and its distinct shape, with small foot rim and short vertical sides, suggests it may have been inspired by Yaozhou celadon wares of the Song and Jin dynasties.
