A TURQUOISE-GLAZED BOTTLE VASE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The vase is decorated with ribbed bands around the body and the tall neck, in imitation of bamboo, and covered overall in a bright turquoise glaze suffused with a fine network of crackle which continues over the galleried mouth rim to the interior of the neck.
