Two generations of the Li family assembled a fine collection of over 50 fans. As described in E & J Frankel’s Fortieth Anniversary Retrospect (New York, 2007, p. 126), the family emphasized quality classical painting and calligraphy themes. In addition, one family member, James Li, is well regarded for his exceptional collection of snuff bottles.
