A FAMILLE ROSE LIME-GREEN-GROUND 'KUI DRAGON' VASE
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The vase is decorated to the bulbous body and the long neck with archaistic confronting kui dragons flanking a gilt chain band, their angular scroll bodies enclosing flower sprays. The rim and shoulder are decorated with a peach and ruyi-head band. The slender neck is applied with two pink-enamelled stylised shou-character handles.
