A GREEN JADE NOTCHED DISC, YABI
LONGSHAN CULTURE, CIRCA 2500-2000 BC
The outer edge of the disc is carved with four angular notches, each set with three smaller notches. The centre is carved with a large ciruclar aperture. The stone is of an even sage-green tone with some russet inclusions and areas of white alteration.
