WESTERN ZHOU PERIOD (1100-771 BC) - TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
Comprises a small bronze ritual axe; a large bronze spear head; and a lobed bronze mirror
The largest, 10 5/8 in. (27 cm.) high
Provenance
The mirror: China-Bohlken, Berlin, 1930s (two bills, undated) to Hermann Rosenfeld.
All pieces: The Hermann Rosenfeld Collection, Hamburg, Germany, circa 1930s.
Acquired by the current owner from the heirs of Mr. Hermann Rosenfeld.
