ITALY, 19TH CENTURY
Each in differing pose and varying dress, holding either a book and a laurel wreath, (one lacking) for the muse Clio or the sky and a laurel wreath for the muse Urania, on square sodalite base, three with label for 'Collection S. Bulgari, Rome', with spurious marks and with later French control mark
10 in. (25.5 cm.) high

Bulgari Collection, Rome.
The Ortolani Collection, Rome; later moved to Montevideo, Uruguay.
