RARE ET IMPORTANTE ARMOIRE EN LAQUE A DECOR QIANGJIN ET TIANQI
CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE KANGXI (1662-1722)
Ouvrant à deux portes, elle est décorée en laque rouge, vert foncé et ocre sur fond brun (tianqi), incisée et soulignées à l'or (qiangjin). Les portes sont ornées de quatre dragons à quatre griffes au corps noueux évoluant parmi les nuages au-dessus des flots et rochers. Les côtés sont agrémentés d'oiseaux perchés sur des branchages à l'intérieur de cartouches carrés ou polylobés. La partie inférieure aux bords chantournés est à décor d'arabesques, rehaussée de fleurs de pivoines épanouies, les charnières et ferrures en cuivre patiné.
