Two Coalport green ground vases painted by Percy Simpson
comprising: a two-handled pot pourri vase, liner and pierced cover, the globular body painted with a lake land view, titled 'Ullswater' to the base, within oval seeded gilt panel, a lesser panel to the reverse, within ivory ground shaped cartouches with gilt scrolls, between gilt gadrooned rims, monogrammed, printed crown marks -- 17cm. high, early 20th century (chip to rim of cover, slight wear); and a slender oviform vase painted with a view titled 'Mt. Dover' within a scroll gilt panel, sogned, printed mark -- 22cm. high (cover lacking)
