the quatrefoil body painted with panels of battle scenes within oval and kidney shaped gilt panels, the ground decorated with ruby, green and white 'jewels' within gilt rims, with leaf-moulded handles, titled in blue script to base, imitation Sèvres marks, the stand -- 30cm. wide, mid 19th century (repairs to finials, wear and minor firing faults, some jewels lacking)
