Two Meissen pierced oval two-handled baskets
one painted to the interior with a view of Dresden across the Elbe within a gilt scroll panel, the trellis pattern border moulded to the exterior with blue flowerheads, with richly gilt stalk handles issuing blossom, titled to the reverse, the other of painted to the centre with a loose spray of flowers, the handles enriched in green (one handle restored), blue crossed swords marks -- 12.5cm. wide, late 19th/20th century
