Bought by the present owner in 2006, the present Nautilus is a superb and very well-preserved representative of the legendary ref. 3711/1G.
According to research, less than 700 examples of the model were made, making it much rarer than its stainless steel counterpart. To date, only some 20 ref. 3711/1G have appeared in public, rendering it one of the most difficult to find recent production Nautilus models.
Reference 3711/1G
Launched in 2004 and discontinued in 2007, reference 3711/1G was only produced for three years. With its impressive size, it is one of the largest "time only" models ever made by Patek Philippe. Very similar to the reference 3700, possibly the most recognizable wristwatch made by Patek Philippe, it carries perfectly the classic proportions of the original “Jumbo” Nautilus, whilst a subtle update resulted in a greater depth to its case. The movement is the caliber 315 SC, which features a sweep centre seconds and date functions.
