A RARE PAIR OF MOTHER-OF-PEARL-INLAID BLACK LACQUER CUPS AND SAUCERS
18TH CENTURY
Each cup and saucer is formed as six overlapping petals inlaid with various diaper patterns, those on the saucers radiating outwards from below the raised cup holder decorated in the center with a dragon roundel, while the exterior is decorated with six different blossoming stems.
