A Shibayama style silver and gold lacquer miniature table cabinet on four feet, decorated with three panels inlaid in mother-of-pearl, horn, stained ivory and wood with egrets among prunus and penies, a bird above a hanging basket of flowers, all on a ground of a profusion of chrysanthemums, the wood interior decorated in gold lacquer with insects and a vase beside flowers -- 6.in (15.2cm) high, signed on a mother-of-pearl tablet and the reverse signed, (old wear).
