Lot Essay

To the best of our knowledge the present lot is fresh to the market. A very coveted timepiece, the Aquanaut reference 5065 was launched in 1997 and produced until 2006. With an attractive “tropical” strap, the wristwatch was Patek Philippe’s first reference with a strap made of high-tech composite. With a pattern matching the dial, the wristwatch quickly captivated collectors of the manufacture through its elegant design and became one of the firm’s Archive Image most popular models.
