A GILT-BRONZE STANDING FIGURE OF GUANYIN
FIVE DYNASTIES PERIOD (907-960)
The standing figure is cast wearing long flowing robes above the bare feet, with the left hand raised in abhayamudra, gesture of peace, and the other with its upturned palm held close to the torso.  Its rounded face with an urna on the forehead above eyes downcast and below up-swept hair tied into a topknot. 
4 ¾ in. (12 cm.) high
