A STELLAR COLLECTION FROM A FRENCH CHATEAU
We are pleased to present a stellar collection from an ancient family-owned château in the Franche-Comte region of France. The wines in the collection were bought on release and stored in the natural, passive cellars ever since. The collection includes superb Burgundy from DRC and rare bottles from Charles Noellat, along with a broad range of fine Bordeaux, Champagne and others. The cellar was damp, as all great natural cellars are, and the labels show significant damage, but look at the levels and you’ll see that these wines are in superb condition – levels of wines from the 1960s and 1970s are in many cases well into neck and the colour and clarity of all are perfect. This is an excellent opportunity for private collectors to acquire wines of superb quality and condition, offered at reasonable estimates.
