PROBABLY ITALY, 20TH CENTURY; STAMPED JBA AND 925 AND SPURIOUS FRENCH IMPORT MARK
Stylistically formed as a Varangian boat, the oval body chased and engraved with pan-Slavic motifs and scrolls, the shaped raised prow in the form of an horse's head, the handle with stylized bird finial and chain, surmounted by a Varangian at the tiller, marked on handle
