Painted with jaguars and exotic birds reserved against black borders, comprising: two serving-plates, twelve dinner-plates, twelve soup-bowls, sixteen starter-plates, fifteen side-plates, three small pickle dishes, a teapot and cover, a sugar-bowl and cover, a milk-jug, eleven teacups and eleven saucers together with a set of eight silver-plated candlesticks in the form of palm trees
The serving-plate 12 in. (30.4 cm.) wide

Said to be Mrs. Henry Ford II's favourite service, a dinner service of the same pattern was given to Mrs. Ford by Estée Lauder, circa 1991 and is included in The Collection of Mrs. Henry Ford II: Part I, to be held at Christie’s, New York, 30 March 2021, lot 155. It is possible that this service may have formed part of the same gift.
