Lot Essay

This endangered species strap is shown for display purposes only and is not for sale. The watch will be supplied with a calf leather strap.

Highly attractive and unusual, the present watch is part of the extremely limited edition of 28 pieces in pink gold produced in 2001 to celebrate the issue of the tourbillon patent to A. L. Breguet on 26 June 1801. The Tourbillon Certificate confirms this very limited production and highlights the special features of the timepiece: a white enamel dial with painted numerals, the engraving on the inside of the coverlid and the most intriguing presence of the secret signature.
