A SPINACH-GREEN JADE 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' STEM BOWL
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The bowl is carved with fluted sides in imitation of a chrysanthemum flower, supported on a tall foot decorated with stylised lappet bands. The bowl and stem are carved to the sides with foliate loops with loose rings. The stone is of a rich dark green tone with black speckled inclusions.
