"Intense nose with a hint of subtle smoky bacon over intense sweet black cherry fruit, concentrated and youthful. Touch of volatile, not disturbing, fresh pure nose. All there and no tone of over maturation. Impressive already. On second nose after half an hour, fine sweet ripe fruit, sweet cherries and berries, almonds, liquorish, hint of Indian spices.
The taste start gets your direct attention by its velvet intensity, filling every corner of your mouth with fresh cherry fruit, fudge, almonds and liquorice leading up to a fine after taste, subtle and lingering. Great balance and backbone of ripe tannins which will keep this wine going for decades. Amazing, a wine to die for. The finish goes on and on, in definitive life.
