Debout dans une posture majestueuse, la tête est tournée vers la gauche, la main gauche tenant sa barbe. Il est vêtu d'une longue robe tombant en plis harmonieux jusqu'aux pieds, coiffé d'un bonnet de lettré noué d'un ruban dont les pans retombent sur les épaules, le dos portant une signature en cachet "sculpté par Huang Bingxun du district de Putian".
