of circular form and with reeded and rope-twist borders, the hinged cover engraved with a monogram within an oval cartouche with a flower head and foliate swags above and beneath, the rim of the lid with later presentation inscription dated 1887, E. Adelaer, Amsterdam probably 1822 or 1832 - 4¾in. (12cm.), 11.75oz.
