A RARE IRON-RED-DECORATED 'DRAGON' DISH
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARCTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The interior is finely decorated with a five-clawed dragon writhing amidst flames in pursuit of a flaming pearl within line borders. The exterior is decorated with two further dragons chasing flaming pearls on a ground of incised waves.
7 1/8 in. (18.1 cm.) diam.
