Lot Essay

Gemini notes: "This edition sculpture was made with 16 gage #4 finish stainless steel with 1/8" coffee brown acrylic sheet. It consists of a stainless steel outer tube with an interior tube of plastic. The stainless steel was sheared and broken into shape. The inside surfaces of the two stainless steel components were coated with a filled epoxy cement and the acrylic sleeve was slid into position. The stainless steel bottom panel was cemented into place and the entire assembly was clamped to insure an excellent lamination."
