Striking period display piece is regarded as the rarest premium of its type with an estimated four surviving copies known to date. This premium was available for redemption of coupons from Ferguson Bakery baseball cards used to promote their brand. The cards stated that for a total of 50 submitted coupons the redeemer would receive, "Beautiful Felt Pillow Top made from Star Base-ball Player Pennants or Favorite Movie Actor Pennants." The cards further noted, "This photo card was wrapped with Peerless Bread, "Perfect for the Home Plate." The explanative takeway was that essentially one needed to consume an enormous amount of bread, in the 1916 era, to redeem the related card coupons for one of the offered pillow tops. Mustard color 23" square premium containing twelve original large variant (6 1/2") BF2 baseball pennants featuring Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, Walter Maranville, Honus Wagner, William Carrigan, H.B. Leonard, Johnny Evers, Tris Speaker, Grover Alexander, Larry Gardner, Walter Johnson, and George Stallings. General condition is very fine with some of the pennant images having some creasing as typical for the issue (Wagner and Cobb with horizontal) and restoration to one and a half of the tassles at bottom margins.
