Lot Essay

Exceedingly rare complete unused ticket as issued for Game (1) of the Series played at Shibe Park. Chief Bender held the Cubs to just one run and Frank Baker lead the offensive push with three hits and a pair of RBI in the A's win. Light wear to the corners and edges along with two creases (one on either end) and some faint wrinkles. A vintage fountain pen notation appears on the back above what is presumably a small moisture stain. The lone example which has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA: PSA "Authentic"
