Perrier-Jouët Cuvée Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2002
In individual original wooden cases stamped with "Cuvée selected for Christie's 2021". Disgorged in 2014. "Cuvée selected for Christie's 2021" back slip labels. Excellent appearance
Tasting note: Pale lemon colour. Complex and elegant aromatics ranging from ripe fruits such as apricot and peach with hints of lemon curd and lemon meringue pie to subtle brioche and nuances of roasted coffee beans. Very intense citrus flavours with a great balance of freshness, texture and flavour concentration giving this wine the potential to age and evolve further and will drink well now and over the next two decades. Tasted June 2021. Tim Triptree MW
