HORATIO, VISCOUNT NELSON (1758-1805)
A 3-page letter, signed: "Nelson & Bronte," to Captain Richard Thomas, 'Commander of His Majesty's Bomb Vessel Aetna', from: "Victory at Sea," 19 May 1804, ordering him to deliver to the officer of Artillery on the Aetna the Act of Parliament for the regulation of Ships, Vessels and Forces by Sea: "that in future he may not plead ignorance of the Act" and with instructions for the men to be kept: "in cleanliness and discipline" and stores to be examined and kept fit for service (traces of guard).
