A one-page document, signed twice: "Nelson and Bronte," including 11 words in autograph, a memorandum addressed to Captain Thomas, from: "Victory at Sea" 22 December 1804, folio, announcing that by January 7 he will be off the Madalena islands, instructing Thomas to join him there if the Aetna needs supplies, adding in autograph in the inner margin: "the Aetna to sail for Madalena January 7th if not relieved," signed at the foot and in the margin (traces of guard).
