Two letters, signed, the first of 2-pages, to Richard Thomas, from "Victory at Sea," 9 April 1805, 4°, informing him of his movement to the North to obtain intelligence of the French and instructing him to give a copy of the letter to the Captains, inscribed at the head: "Most Secret Route of the Fleet to be communicated to the Captains of any of His Majesty's Ships in Search of the Fleet;" the second of one-page, from "Victory," 11 April 1805, announcing his movements to the Westward of Corsica and Sardinia (worn at centre fold).
