PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE EUROPEAN COLLECTION (LOTS 10-12)The parents of the present owner received a scholarship to study in China in 1950. The mother studied Art History at Beijing Academy of Art preparing her Phd thesis and returned to Europe in 1958. Lin Fengmian was her teacher there, she knew him personally and purchased these three paintings directly from him at his studio in Shanghai.
