of melon-fluted compressed inverted pear shape and on foliate-chased octafoil bases, each with a foliate and lobe-chased everted rim, the teapot with foliate-capped rising curved spout, leaf-capped scroll handle and domed hinged cover with melon finial, the gilt-lined milk jug and sugar basin with beaded foliate scroll handles, Richard William Atkins & William Nathaniel Somersall, London 1830 - height of teapot 6½in.
