ANONYMOUS, c. 1876
A high-waisted cotton dress in red, white and blue with foil starts affixed to the sleeves and collar. accompanied by a mattching red and white parisol on a short, wood pole. According to the label on verso, the dress was used in a parade held in Chester, Connecicut on 4 July 1876. Housed in a custom wood display.
