Of rectangular form with four feet, the sides decorated with inlaid decoration of a central geometric star-motif surrounded by swirling arabesques and roundels bearing the name of the Prophet, the hinged lid with sloping sides and raised central panel, cartouches of naskh inscriptions on the two long sides with inscribed roundels one the two short sides and top, with arabesques between, the interior lined with wood, brass hinges and clasp
