made for the Islamic market, decorated with shaped panels of Arabic inscriptions on black grounds, the turquoise background reserved with flowersprays -- 4½.in (11.5cm) high; a similar tripod bombe censer, the inscriptions on pale blue grounds -- 4.in (10.2cm) wide; and a similar circular box and cover, the inscriptions on white grounds -- 2½.in (6.4cm) diam.
