with recumbent caparisoned elephant finial with its trunk raised carrying a vase of fruit and other motifs on its back above scrolling lotus, with flamiform handles flanking ruyi-heads, the body with a bannd of lappets above three elephant-head and ruyi-head feet -- 15½.in (39.5cm) high, Xuande and commendation mark, 17th Century.
