18TH-19TH CENTURY
The tripartite backsplat, inset with three panels and a beaded apron, supports the rounded crestrail termining in outswept hooks above a mat seat and beaded, cusped apron and spandrels. The whole is raised on round-section legs joined by pairs of stretchers at the sides and a footrest at the front.
