The C-shaped finial is carved with a dragon head with mouth agape; the pendant is carved in the form of a mythical animal mask.
Dragon finial: 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) long; mask pendant: 1 5/8 in. (4.2 cm.) long, boxes

Compare to a very similar jade dragon finial, also with the attachment lost, unearthed from Tomb no. 2 in Luopowan, Guangxi, illustrated in Zhongguo meishu quanji, vol. 9, Jade, Beijing, 1986, pl. 178 (fig. 1).
