Lot Essay

Compare to a white jade sword chape reticulated with chilong dragons, unearthed from the tomb of King Chu from the Western Han dynasty, in Beidongshan, Xuzhou city, illustrated in Da Han Chu Wang: Xuzhou Xihan Chu Wang mu wenwu jicui, Beijing, 2005, p. 140 (fig. 1).
