Lot Essay

Compare to a bronze spearhead of very similar shape, cast with mask motif, unearthed from the tomb of King Chu in Shizishan, Xuzhou city in Jiangsu province, illustrated in Da Han Chu Wang: Xuzhou Xihan Chuwang lingmu wenwu jicui, Beijing, 2005, p. 128 (fig. 1).
